Wayne is in his 36th year with the Postal Service, which began as a Postal Assistant in Cranford, New Jersey. He has worked in many craft and management positions, and is currently Postmaster of Cranford, New Jersey. He has been a NAPUS member and Postmaster for 22 years. His various NAPUS positions have included, State President, State Secretary-Treasurer, District Vice-President, Chairman of the Joseph P. Rufolo Scholarship Program, National Education and Development Chair, Facilitator at Leadership Conferences, and has served on various committees on a national level.

Wayne is very active in his community having served as an Executive Board member for the Cranford Chamber of Commerce, Chairperson for the Pastoral Council, St. Agnes R.C. Church, Coordinator Marriage Preparation Program, St Agnes R.C. Church and is a Certified N.J. State Municipal Court Mediator.

Wayne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kean University majoring in political science and public administration. Wayne and his wife Gail reside in Cranford and have two children, Collin who is married to Christine, and Candice who is married to Bob.
