Dale is in his 39th year with the Postal Service, which began as a Postal Assistant in New Orleans. He has performed in most craft and management positions, ranging from clerk/carrier to most importantly, Postmaster of Covington, Louisiana. He has been a NAPUS member and a Postmaster for 29 years. His NAPUS positions include, State President, State Secretary Treasurer, District Vice President, National Membership Co-Chair, National Resolutions Co-Chair, Constitution and By-Laws Co-Chair, National Vice President, National Secretary Treasurer 2001-2002 and National President 2006-2007. He was also Postmaster of the Year in 1994. Dale was the first recipient of the Jessie Harrison Memorial Award recognizing outstanding State Secretary Treasurers.
Dale earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Southeastern Louisiana University with a minor in Business and Computer Science.
Dale and his wife, Becky, have two children, Chip, 27, who is married to Kerry; and Amy, 19.
