Emergency Placement 10-29-09
New RIF-Finance Control; District Purchasing; Asset Management – Timelines (October 2009)
Vegliante PFP EOY Rating — 10-15-09
Postmaster Work Week — 09-23-09 All: On September 3rd Charley Mapa, President of the League of Postmasters and I met with Doug Tulino, Vice-President of Labor Relations, in reference to a letter we wrote to Mr. Potter about FLSA concerns and Postmasters being mandated to work more than eight hours a day or more than forty hours in a week. In particular mandating Saturday work on a continual basis. In response to our concerns please see the attached letter from Mr. Donahoe addressing these concerns and reminding the field to adhere to the ELM.
This is a letter that Charley and I have been asking for quite some time. While we know there will be times that it is necessary to work additional time it should not be on a consistent basis and "mandated". Please use this letter when addressing your concerns with the Areas and Districts.
If you have any questions please call me.
