In our continuing effort to keep you and our members informed of our actions, attached you will find a letter that was sent on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 to the Chairman of the Board Governors of the United States Postal Service and the Chairman of the Postal Regulatory Commission requesting their assistance in dealing with the lack of response to our letter dated October 3, 2008 to the Postmaster General.

The subject of our concerns is addressed in the attachments. Please ensure that your chapters receive this information as expeditiously as possible.

The National Executive Board meeting on 12-19-2007 approved our "Free Membership" program be extended to 12-31-2008. Any new Postmaster, OIC, or PMR has (30) days from their appointment to join NAPUS for (1) year free membership.
